Amergis Behavior Technicians in Bakersfield, California

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is now hiring Behavior Technicians in the school setting for the remainder of the 23/24 school year, and now for the 2024/2025 school year in Bakersfield.

Pay rate: $17/hour

Benefits

Full time and per diem

Responsibilities: Collaborate with special education teachers and school staff to implement behavior intervention plans.

  • Provide one-on-one support to students with behavioral challenges, both inside and outside the classroom.

  • Assist in conducting behavior assessments and collecting data on student behavior.

  • Implement strategies and techniques to promote positive behavior and teach appropriate social skills.

  • Monitor and supervise students during instructional and non-instructional activities to ensure a safe learning environment.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of student behavior and progress.

  • Participate in team meetings, professional development activities, and training sessions as required.

  • Adhere to school policies and procedures related to behavior management and student discipline.
