Amergis Behavior Technicians in Bakersfield, California
Amergis Healthcare Staffing is now hiring Behavior Technicians in the school setting for the remainder of the 23/24 school year, and now for the 2024/2025 school year in Bakersfield.
Pay rate: $17/hour
Benefits
Full time and per diem
Responsibilities: Collaborate with special education teachers and school staff to implement behavior intervention plans.
Provide one-on-one support to students with behavioral challenges, both inside and outside the classroom.
Assist in conducting behavior assessments and collecting data on student behavior.
Implement strategies and techniques to promote positive behavior and teach appropriate social skills.
Monitor and supervise students during instructional and non-instructional activities to ensure a safe learning environment.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of student behavior and progress.
Participate in team meetings, professional development activities, and training sessions as required.
Adhere to school policies and procedures related to behavior management and student discipline.
