Amergis Healthcare Center Director of Operations in Bradenton, Florida

Salary ranging from $80,000 - $100,000/yr based on experience

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Director of Health Center Operations is responsible for developing collaborative

relationships with assigned health centers to serve as a liaison between executive leadership

and regional leadership. The director will assume responsibility for the analysis, monitoring, and

improvement of performance in assigned health centers as measured by organizational

performance indicators, such as strategic plan components.

JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Provide leadership for Health Center front office functions and associated staff as well as

Center-related human resources, financial, call center, and medical records management

activities

• Drive organizational results by working closely with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and

Center Leadership Teams to Amergisize access to care, quality, efficiency, and favorable

financial results

• Lead operations staff and processes in a manner to ensure the highest level of service

excellence

• Work closely with COO and key leaders to achieve organizational goals for unduplicated

patients and encounters by Amergisizing the efficiency and effectiveness of Center

operational processes

• Work closely with COO and key leaders to achieve organizational financial goals through

excellent performance of associated front office functions and Amergisization of the revenue

cycle process

• Partner with the Director of Quality to execute Health Center

patient engagement and satisfaction program

• Provide operational support for the delivery of established and new Health Center patient services

such as (but not limited to) Medical care, Pharmacy, lab, and capital projects

• Provide operational support for all lines specialty services

• Partner with the Director of Facilities for maintenance and housekeeping functions to ensure

high-quality care and compliance with all applicable regulations including (but not limited to)

Health Resources Services Administration (HRSA), the Joint Commission, Patient Centered

Medical Home (PCMH), federal and state regulations

• Modeling and advancement of Client's mission, vision, and values

• Build and maintain trusted relationships via effective communication and collaboration with

Health Center Leadership, staff, stakeholders, and business contacts

• Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes to provide

visibility into the goals, progress, and obstacles of key initiatives

• Draw on relationships with department heads, external partners, and vendors to make

decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals

• Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for day-to-day operations to ensure efficient and

timely completion of tasks

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:

• Masterful organizational, communication, and leadership skills, backed by previous

professional success

• Superior knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, including finance,

customer service, production, and employee management

• Proven ability to plan and manage operational processes for Amergisum efficiency and

productivity

• Ability to streamline or implement structures and roles that boost speed and efficiency

while supporting rapidly shifting business demands

• Strong working knowledge of industry regulations and legal guidelines

REQUIREMENTS & PREFERENCES:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business administration or related field required

• Five or more years in a senior leadership role, in a health care setting, required

• Experience in developing budgets and business plans preferred

• Superior negotiation skills for both internal and external purposes preferred

• Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics preferred

• Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) experience strongly desired

• Must have a valid Florida Driver License in order to drive to various sites
