Amergis Public Health Nurse in Burlington, North Carolina
Amergis Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Public Health Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in promoting and protecting the health of our community through direct patient care, health education, and disease prevention initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care and health assessments to individuals and families in the community.
Administer immunizations, medications, and treatments as prescribed.
Conduct home visits and community outreach to educate and support public health initiatives.
Collaborate with healthcare providers, community organizations, and other stakeholders to address public health concerns.
Participate in the planning and implementation of public health programs and emergency response efforts.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and documentation.
Educate the public on health promotion, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices.
Qualifications:
Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in public health or community health.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and other relevant software.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
