Details & Responsibilities –

• Competitive Pay

• Part time Schedule

• Rotate between facilities and is flexible

• Monday and Wednesdays preferred, No Fridays!

• No Call, No Weekends

• Start Date – ASAP

• Credentialing Estimate – 1 months

• General Dentistry. Perform restorative, prosthodontic, surgical, endodontic, interceptive orthodontic and periodontal treatment within the scope of general dentistry.

• Routine/Preventative Care – i.e. annual cleanings and X-rays,

• Urgent Care – painful conditions of the tooth, mouth or gums,

• Examinations/ Diagnostic Services - visual examination of the mouth, teeth, gums, and soft and hard tissue with radiographic and other studies, as appropriate,

• Restorative Services – to include permanent fillings and temporary fillings limited to teeth with stable structural integrity,

• Endodontic Services - to include root canal and/or Apicoectomy,

• Removable Prosthodontics - artificial structure made by or under the supervision of a dentist to replace a full or partial set of teeth, services including construction and/or replacement, relining/re-basing or repair,

• Treatment Plans – develop and adhere to individualized treatment plan for each inmate with a dental condition requiring close dental supervision.

Required Qualifications –

• Active Dental Licensure in CT

• 1+ years of experience preferred

• BLS Certification

• Active/unrestricted DEA
