Job Title: Fill-in/Floater BehavioralTechnician (School Setting)

JobDescription: Amergis HealthcareStaffing is looking for a dedicated Behavioral Therapists to provide behavioralsupport services in a school setting. This role involves working on a varietyof cases, including one-on-one and classroom support. If you are passionateabout making a positive impact on children’s lives, this position is perfectfor you!
Pay: $23-$26/hr
EmploymentType: Full-Time and/or Part-Time
WorkHours: Approximately 8am-3pm, Mondayto Friday
KeyResponsibilities:
Provide personal care and behavioral assistance/interventions to assigned student(s).
Assist students with classroom activities, grooming, eating/meal preparation, and toileting.
Support students with ambulation and transfer services.
Manage difficult behaviors and provide crisis intervention.
Encourage student independence and ensure their safety.
Implement behavioral plans effectively.
Verify changes in assignment due to client requests.
Confirm weekly schedules with the Amergis office staff.
Document care according to Amergis policies and procedures.
Complete communication notes or incident logs promptly when necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned.
MinimumRequirements:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Associate’s degree in behavioral studies or related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
Proficiency in verbal and written English.
Current Health Certificate (if applicable).
Valid CPR certification.
Current TB Skin test or Chest X-ray.
Successful completion of the company testing process.
