Amergis Registered Dietician in Sarasota, Florida
$22 - $26 / hour
Amergis Healthcare Staffing is looking for RegisteredDietitians.
Provide one-on-one coaching/education regarding healthy lifestyle choices (exercise, nutrition, stress management, etc)
Provide preventative medical care
Establish treatment plans and communicate with clients to identify educational needs
Evaluate adequacy of food supply, household resources and food management skills
Assess client's stress level, coping skills/strategies and beliefs related to nutrition and physical activity
Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited school of nutrition, food science or dietetics
Required for application: Current & valid state of Florida Registered Dietician (RD) license
One (1) year of professional dietician experience in a clinical setting; conducting nutritional assessments with subsequent nutritional counseling/coaching with clients whose medical needs range from gastro-intestinal issues, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, endocrine disorders, renal insufficiency and conditions of the liver
Master's level Nutrition or dietetics degree
One (1) year of experience counseling diabetic clients on their nutritional, prescription and preventive care needs
