Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conducts functional behavior assessments and educational assessments, accurately identifying the function of challenging behavior and socially valid, pivotal behaviors to target

  • Develops strong collaborative relationships and provides training to school staff to implement effective techniques across all environments, promoting progress and generalization

  • Provides ongoing supervision and training of behavior technicians, paraprofessionals and related field staff ensuring treatment integrity and supporting professional growth

  • Develops behavior goals and intervention techniques utilizing non-aversive behavior change methods

  • Determines prevention, intervention and consequence strategies according to the needs and abilities of the individual. Collect, analyze and report data and other paperwork within the established time frames to ensure program validity and efficacy

  • Performs other duties as assigned/necessary

Minimum Requirements:

  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), as certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)

  • Preferred experience providing behavior analytic programs in homes or schools

  • Current CPR certification

  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray (as applicable per state and/or client requirement)

  • Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills; proficiency in the English language may be required

  • Computer proficiency required

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
